fell charter students caught streaking for breast cancer
On Monday, October 5th the students, and staff of Fell Charter School, along with Amy Ghirelli, Owner of Headquarters Hair Salon and Coconut Grove Tanning Salon of Scranton, will be adding pink streaks to their hair in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Mrs. Ghirelli will be at Fell Charter School, 777 Main St. Simpson, PA from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. painting the streaks of pink in support of breast cancer research.
Everyone (men and women) in the community is invited to come to the school and “go pink”. The cost will be $15.00 (cash please) with one half of the cost going to the Susan G. Koeman Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
Mary Jo Walsh, Principal at Fell Charter said, “The students have been asking to do this for quite some time. I am thrilled that Mrs. Ghirelli offered to help us out. It will be fantastic!”
Please join us as we fight against this disease on October 5th at Fell Charter School

As part of our effort to continually update and improve the Fell Charter Elementary School website, we are very excited to launch our new calendar page!
The website now contains an interactive calendar listing all of our events for the school year. Hover your mouse over an event to see a popup with the full details! We will continue to add new events and update information as the year progresses. Because of its interactive nature, this is taking the place of the calendar that we sent home in the beginning of the year.
The button on the homepage has been updated and will now take you directly to the new calendar:
