We’re all but done with the month of November, and this last week has been fun! Yesterday Fell Charter held its second annual Math Bee, with students in all grades competing against one another to see who was the master of the numbers. All the participants did a great job! We followed that up in the afternoon with our annual Spirit games, where grades from each grade took on challenges in the gym, racing the clock and each other.
Please remember that Wednesday is a half-day, with dismissal at 11am. It is also the Student vs. Staff Volleyball game, where the Fell Charter staff will work to hold onto their championship title – the students will have to play hard to beat them and break the staff’s winning streak!
Included with this week’s Warrior is information and an order form for the December Poinsettia Sale, which will be running until Thursday, Dec. 10th.
Finally, the teachers and staff would like to wish everybody a safe & happy Thanksgiving Break! We hope that you are able to spend time with friends a family, and we’ll see you back here on December 1st!

Home Showcase scheduled for February 5, 6 & 7.
The 2010 Log On! Contest will feature 50 toy log homes designed and constructed by

February 5, 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 10:00 Am to 8:00 PM and Sunday,
February 7 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The association will announce at 3:30 PM during a
special ceremony and will also recognize all which will recognize all participants.
Based on the tremendous response the association received for the 2009 Log On! Contest,
the association advises parents to pre-register their children early. In 2009, the
association unfortunately had to turn away 20 potential contestants. Parents can call the
LHBA at 570-341-7496 or email lhbagentile@aol.com to request a preregistration/
commitment form. A modest fee of $10 is charged to enter the contest.
Once registration forms are processed, children will be notified of the toy log pick up
date. Children will receive a 250+ deluxe set of earth-friendly toy logs provided by
RoyToy of Machias, Maine and will have approximately 5 weeks to design and build
their homes.
