Earth Week!

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day on Thursday, April 22nd, Fell Charter students and faculty celebrated “Earth Week” with events each day this past week.  Beginning with our kick-off on Monday and incorporating video presentations, guest speakers, and the annual Earth Day school cleanup on Thursday, this year was out best yet!

We closed out the week of celebration with an open-mic reading, where representatives from each grade shared an original Earth-themed work.  The faculty cooked up a whole mess of chocolate chip pancakes for everyone, and the 7th grade band “Open Eyes” performed for the school.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the students, faculty, and parents/guardians who supported our Earth Week celebration, either through their time, efforts, or donations.  We accomplished a great deal – not the least of which was the construction of our Earth Day Nature Patio – and we couldn’t have done it without all the wonderful support!

From all of us at Fell Charter, Thank You!
