Parent/guardian involvement is not just a wonderful addition to a successful school, it is essential. At Fell Charter Elementary, it is also a requirement of all parents/guardians. There are always opportunities for volunteers to help out, be it during lunch periods, Paragon Nights, or over the summer.
Volunteer Requirements: All Parents/Guardians are required to volunteer their time for two (2) hours a month. Volunteer programs benefit our school community, and enforce great parent/student and parent/school involvement. Ways of fulfilling this requirement include but are not limited to;
A. Cafeteria Duty
B. Paragon Night donations, set up and/or clean up.
C. Saturday Work Sessions, cleaning sessions.
D. Field Trips*
E. Donations of time at home addressing letters, etc.
F. Donations of time from home making phone calls, etc.
For additional/other options, please contact the school Principal.

*Field Trips: Any Parent/Guardian who attends a field trip as a chaperone must have his/her two clearances and finger prints on file at the school, 24 hours prior to the field trip. No one will be permitted to attend a field trip without proper clearances and attending the pre-field trip meeting.
Background Clearance Checks: Beginning Fall 2006, all FCES volunteers must obtain all proper clearances (Act 151, 34). These checks will be valid in the school for two years from the date of issue. When volunteering, please sign in at the main office first. The necessary forms can be reached via the following links:
