Please note that ALL Fell Charter families are required to fill out a Free & Reduced Lunch Application. A copy of the application will be sent home with every student on Tuesday and needs to be returned to the main office by the end of the week. If you wish to download a print a form, you may do so below.
The only exception is for families who have completed the online registration – if you have already registered online, please DO NOT submit a paper form as well.
We’re almost there! Just 6 more days before school starts – don’t worry, we’ll be ready. The old building is entirely dismantled and most of the pieces have been removed. The new, temporary modulars are on-site and assembled, and Mr. Shimo is hard at work hooking the decks back up to them.
Great progress is being made in setting up our temporary modular classrooms for the start of this school year!
Unfortunately for us, the contractors are running a bit behind. We have put pressure on them to make sure that everything is up to Fell’s standards and that is taking some additional time. We want to make sure that everything is up to speed to start. That being said, we are making our final adjustment to the start of this school year.
All students, grades Kindergarten through eight, will start school on the 7th of September, and we will have full days for everyone. This moves school back one week. We will plan our Open House once school gets back and we get everyone settled.
It will be an eventful and event-filled year at Fell!
See you all on Sept. 7th bright and early for full days!
The pieces of the old building are about to be removed from the property, and temporary modulars that will be our homes during the next year are arriving! By the end of the week the temporary modulars should be in-place and assembled.
Only one week to go before the start of school, and we’ll be ready!
As you have hopefully already heard, the beginning of school has been pushed back one week so that we can have the old building off the site in before classes resume. We’re making progress!
In our on-going effort to assure a safe and happy return to our 2010-2011 school year and in anticipation of building our new building, the School Board voted last night to delay the start of school by one week. Therefore we will have students in grades 1 through 8 return to us on Monday, August 30th, starting at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 11:00 a.m. Kindergarten students will report to us on Wednesday September 1st from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The week of August 30th will be half days with dismissal each day at 11:00.
Beginning Tuesday, September 7th, all grades begin full days of school.
We appreciate your patience as we finalize preparations for a new building site.
