1st Grade

Welcome to the First Grade classroom!

First Grade is an exciting year of learning and exploring.

Our Paragon curriculum is a journey through time. We began our journey building a cave in the Stone Age, then continue on to create the Parthenon in Ancient Greece, and a castle in the Middle Ages. As our journey continues we become kings and queens, explorers, Pilgrims, and Indians. We then journey across the Great Plains on a wagon train to discover new cities.

Our travels are not just limited to Paragon. In Science we tour our Earth’s habitats. We create our own deserts, forests, oceans, and rainforests. We explore how we can take care of our planet and its natural resources. We even make our own fossils!

The best part about all this exploration and traveling is that we always end up safe at home here at Fell Charter School!
