2nd Grade

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Second grade is a busy and fun year! We learn new and exciting things in every subject and the students also learn how to become more independent and organized. Take a look at what we cover throughout the year!

Paragon: In paragon we start in the Ancient World and travel all the way to the Twentieth Century, creating and learning new things all the way through.

Science: Science is all about hands on activities and learning in the topics of life science, earth science, and physical science.

Math: Second grade is an exciting year for math. The students will learn addition, subtraction, fractions, measurement, and much more.

Reading: Second grade is a year filled with reading! The students will read stories about sharing, kindness, fossils, courage, and our country and its people.
