Music
About Miss. Muha
I am very excited to be teaching music here at Fell Charter Elementary School. This is my first teaching job, and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in May of 2007 with a B.S. Music Education degree. I play acoustic guitar and sing at a few restaurants in the Waymart/Carbondale area during the summers. Experiencing new and different music is one of my passions. Reading is also a favorite pastime of mine.

Music Class
Grades K-2 Music is beginning the year with games, songs, and activities that focus concepts such as; beat/ rhythm, high/low, fast/slow. Grades 3 and 4 are brushing up on their note reading skills and will learn about some new musical symbols that will assist them in reading more music. In grades 5-8 time we’re working a little literature into music class by reading the Charles Dickens’ classic “Oliver Twist”. We’ll then compare the book to the musical and learn some of the songs that go with it. We’ll also be working on projects such as writing parodies, music soundtrack assignments, and music history.
